Really impressed by the design and details of LUGGEX luggage. The zipperless aluminum frame gives it a much more solid and premium feel compared with traditional suitcases, and the structure looks built for real travel, not just appearance.

The smooth wheels, reinforced corners, and thoughtful features make a big difference when moving through airports, hotels, and city streets. It feels like a suitcase designed for frequent travelers who care about durability, convenience, and long-term reliability.

I wanted to use these before I wrote a review. I travelled Germany for 7 weeks, 3,500+ miles, 50 trains… and I was NOT gentle with this luggage.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice. I purchased several brands before deciding on Luggex—and this was hands down the BEST decision.

I had this suitcase maxed out weight-wise. Traveling alone much of the time meant I was constantly lifting, pulling, and yes… even throwing it on and off trains because I had more than one bag. Some days I didn’t even have the energy to carry it up and down stairs, so it literally bumped down step by step with me. I was worried the stairs would ruin my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine!!! The suitcase is incredibly durable.

And the wheels? AMAZING. They held up to EVERYTHING.

They handled every surface I came across. Cobblestone? No problem. Although I will say… in Köln (Cologne), the cobblestones were EXTRA 😂 so I had to put my back into it and pull!

It rolled smoothly across platforms, elevators, stairs, and everything in between.

It also went on and off escalators easily, which was a huge deal when traveling alone. My carry on sat on top and strapped easily to the pull up handle. i am 6’ 2” and the handle was a perfect length for me.

I brought a spare wheel but never needed it. The shocks did their job perfectly. After 7 weeks of serious use, the wheels still looked great, just normal scuffs and scratches (see pic).

Security was another huge plus.
No zippers to puncture, just a solid aluminum frame with two TSA-approved locks. I felt completely comfortable leaving it in the train luggage areas while I went to the bathroom or restaurant car. I also used a retractable locking cable for extra peace of mind.

The medium size fit easily in the overhead racks on German trains.

About the frame … I tried other hard-shell suitcases without aluminum frames, and they all felt floppy and “soft.” With my hip injury, I needed something I could sit on if necessary. The company didn’t officially recommend it, but I had to try it and it was SOLID .

I used it as a seat multiple times throughout my trip. Even my 6’10”, 300 lb son sat on his with no issue. The frame is no joke!! Seriously strong and well-built.

Bottom line:
I am SO happy with this purchase. We now own four different sizes and I am buying a set for my husband.

I’ve included a video of it rolling over different surfaces in Bad Honnef, regular cobblestones, the horribly bumpy ones in Cologne and down the stairs at the Cathedral. The wheel photo shows their condition AFTER the full 7-week trip. Even after sitting on them, a lot, the shock is in perfect condition.

I used to overpack and blow zippers constantly. The aluminum frame just... handles it. Game changer for chronic over-packers like me.

This 30” trunk suitcase was perfect for my study abroad trip. I managed to pack everything into one suitcase, so I didn’t have to deal with bringing two like I used to. The wheels roll very smoothly on different surfaces, and the aluminum frame with the TSA lock makes it feel strong and secure. It definitely gives me peace of mind while traveling.

Delivered timely for my upcoming vacation. Easy to set locks, held a week's worth of clothes, shoes, pillows for a trip to disney. Easy to navigate through the airport. Highly recommend purchasing these with Amazon.

There are not enough good things to say! This trunk is solid and I love the locks! The 80/20 split is amazing! I was able to keep my trunk with minimal space and my wife’s old bag was open and everywhere, it’s like I had my whole act together! These are the best wheels on any bag hands down and as a added touch the “legs” under the bag have a little hook to hang something on while it is upright (like my wife’s purse) when we checked in! Amazing! Overall I questioned whether to get the 30” trunk due to its large size but after using it I would not have it any other way! Plenty of room with a small footprint! Now, where can I take it next……

Great case, bought it for a 2-week trip knowing I would be coming back with some fragile items, it really did the trick in terms of getting everything back safe as well as accommodating all that I needed to fit. Smooth action on the wheels, very sturdy handle, I'm happy with the thickness of the case shell. It really does get the job done

I use this as a gear case more than a suit case but it works well. It’s sturdy and has plenty of locks. It gets thrown in my truck and so it’s been rugged so far. Probably some overkill if you are just packing clothes but if you need something sturdy this one seems to be a winner.

Super strong! Best I’ve ever had, I do a lot of traveling income had a lot of suitcases, this is the best I’ve ever found. It is ATF certified, and can withstand all the abuse of the luggage handlers issue at the airport.

Nice to find a zipperless suitcase. Three latches is good but additional latches at each end would make it bombproof.

Better quality, better price
Did my research. Same aluminum build as the luxury brands but Luggex doesn't charge the "influencer tax." Smart shopping.

The aluminum frame isn't just for show. This thing feels indestructible compared to my old polycarbonate Away.

I compared this to my wife’s $300 nobl luggage. I can honestly say, my wife’s Nobl is a total waste of money, for the same price as a nobl, you can get 2 of these. Same high quality, exact same locks, same seal, and honestly these look better.

Great suitcase. Like the locking latches.
