It's a beautiful piece of luggage at sight. I purchased this for my trip to Thailand. I expected a larger cavity on each side, BUT the way it's set up with pouches with pockets for items is helpful making this luggage workable. Let's see how it holds up on my trip.

I wanted to use these before I wrote a review. I travelled Germany for 7 weeks, 3,500+ miles, 50 trains… and I was NOT gentle with this luggage.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice. I purchased several brands before deciding on Luggex—and this was hands down the BEST decision.

I had this suitcase maxed out weight-wise. Traveling alone much of the time meant I was constantly lifting, pulling, and yes… even throwing it on and off trains because I had more than one bag. Some days I didn’t even have the energy to carry it up and down stairs, so it literally bumped down step by step with me. I was worried the stairs would ruin my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine!!! The suitcase is incredibly durable.

And the wheels? AMAZING. They held up to EVERYTHING.

They handled every surface I came across. Cobblestone? No problem. Although I will say… in Köln (Cologne), the cobblestones were EXTRA 😂 so I had to put my back into it and pull!

It rolled smoothly across platforms, elevators, stairs, and everything in between.

It also went on and off escalators easily, which was a huge deal when traveling alone. My carry on sat on top and strapped easily to the pull up handle. i am 6’ 2” and the handle was a perfect length for me.

I brought a spare wheel but never needed it. The shocks did their job perfectly. After 7 weeks of serious use, the wheels still looked great, just normal scuffs and scratches (see pic).

Security was another huge plus.
No zippers to puncture, just a solid aluminum frame with two TSA-approved locks. I felt completely comfortable leaving it in the train luggage areas while I went to the bathroom or restaurant car. I also used a retractable locking cable for extra peace of mind.

The medium size fit easily in the overhead racks on German trains.

About the frame … I tried other hard-shell suitcases without aluminum frames, and they all felt floppy and “soft.” With my hip injury, I needed something I could sit on if necessary. The company didn’t officially recommend it, but I had to try it and it was SOLID .

I used it as a seat multiple times throughout my trip. Even my 6’10”, 300 lb son sat on his with no issue. The frame is no joke!! Seriously strong and well-built.

Bottom line:
I am SO happy with this purchase. We now own four different sizes and I am buying a set for my husband.

I’ve included a video of it rolling over different surfaces in Bad Honnef, regular cobblestones, the horribly bumpy ones in Cologne and down the stairs at the Cathedral. The wheel photo shows their condition AFTER the full 7-week trip. Even after sitting on them, a lot, the shock is in perfect condition.

I got LUGGEX 28", I was a bit unsure at first since this suitcase doesn?t have a zipper, but I?m so glad I went for it! The locking latches are easy to use and feel way more secure.One of the best features is how lightweight yet spacious it is. I packed everything I needed for a multi-day trip and the organized interior made packing super efficient . It looks a bit compact but depth covers everything.It also feels really sturdy with the aluminum corner protectors and reinforced frame.The springy wheels roll smoothly, even on bumpy surfaces. Plus, the modern lock gives it a cool, high-tech vibe.Overall, I?m really happy with this purchase ? it?s stylish, functional, and built to last!

Fantastic suitcase at a great price. We just used the suitcase for the first time for a week-long trip. It was more than enough room for everything we both needed for the week. The suitcase looks great and is also great quality. Lightweight, strong, and durable. There's a noticeable difference when rolling it, it is so smooth, even across pavement and uneven sidewalks. We had one change in each leg of our trip so overall it went through four loading and unloading cycles total during our round trip. No damage or noticeable dings whatsoever, I saw a couple of small scuffs on the polycarbonate shell but they rubbed off easily with my hand. Overall I'm really impressed with this luggage and definitely plan to buy more from the same company.If I had to name one drawback, it would be that there is no flexibility in the hinges like you have with a zipper. No room to expand if you have both sides fully packed. But that's a compromise I'm willing to make for the overall added strength in the frame and hinges. Along with the convenience of the locking latches

This is a very clean, nicely organized bag with wheels that move as smooth as butter! Really easy and fast. I like that there are no zippers and two locks. There are connecting straps and a removable pouch on one side of the interior and straps on the opposite side to hold down the clothes. Then there is a zippered cover to keep the clothes clean and in place. The top of the suitcase is flat surface that is about 15 inches wide and 10 inches deep so a slip-on bag or backpack can sit atop the suitcase easily. I even put a small rolling carry-on suitcase inside and it fit, but when a lot of items are inside the suitcase, it is not easy to close over the small carry-on. So I am using a carry-on that will slide onto the handle of the Luggex and with the wheels being so easy to move in all directions, I am sure that it will make carrying two bags very easy. I chose the Ocean Blue because most of my other luggage pieces are a similar color blue and I try to make my bags stand out. I chose this bag to buy because more than one person said in a review that this brand was very strong and did not break easily as other bags they owned had done. One person said this was the only suitcase of this type that he bought that did not get destroyed when it came off a plane. It is a good size for traveling for a month or more, and at the holidays to bring gifts or a robe, extra coats, scarves, and boots. So far, so good. We will see how it withstands a trip abroad in a few months.

I purchased 2 of these suitcases for my extended vacations overseas. It has now been 6 months of frequent traveling, several boat/ferry excursions and I am impressed with the durability of these suitcases. After observing how luggage gets treated from the handles, not to mention the paths that the wheels have to travel over, everything still works and has not been damaged from the abuse and wear and tear of the handlers.My luggage is always loaded to the maximum allowable weight limits, and the spring-absorbing wheels can really take the load. Often, the rock/gravel paths can be a burden, with the wheels scraping sideways into the dirt, but once back on a solid surface, the wheels continue to do their magic.The handles are also very tough. I daisy-chain one suitcase to the other and basically tow them when I'm on solid ground.I also added some heavy duty luggage straps to the ensemble just to make my luggage stand out as well as protect it slightly from dishonest quick and easy opportunists.You will not be disappointed when you buy this brand and model luggage. I'm glad I did.

Beautiful suit case. Held up nicely. Capacity was as expected but I was overweight thought. So far no issues with durability but this is the first half of my trip. Easy to roll. Wished the black was at this price point but I couldn't wait. Not really a person who use the inside pockets. If u pack too much stuff u may not have an easy time to close as with a zipper.

As advertised. Well built, takes luggage handlers in stride. Looks as good after the trip as it did before. Recommend and would purchase again.

Nice looking; good size for longer trip

I love this bag for style, size, durability, and no zippers, but it DID NOT SURVIVE its first and only trip. I took it to Europe for 6 weeks - airlines, trains, bad street rolling - but American Airline destroyed it upon return. They somehow dropped it and bent in the lower front corner and bottom back hinge - not opening the case but making it unusable in the future.

Love this case secure and safe. So large fit enough for me for a 3 week trip.

Luggage survived it's first airport trips with no problem. Carried over 49lbs of clothes without breaking or dents. Rolled easily over multiple surfaces with no issues. Best Luggage I have ever owned.

Love love this luggage. Ive used it on multiple trips. It holds up well. I like the fact that it locks and you don’t have to worry about it popping open on the flight or the zipper breaking. It rolls smoothly and is easy to maneuver.

This thing looks great. It rolls so smoothly. It's lightweight. The thing that drew me to this luggage initially was how both sides have mechanisms to restrain their contents. One side has a full zipper. The other side has a really strong restraining strap with a shield. This prevents anything from tumbling out when the suitcase is opened.

Very durable. Perfect if youre tired of broken zippers

Great sturdy luggage. Wheels are great and it seems tough! Is bigger than I imagined. Can easily pack it heavier than 50lbs.

I bought the 28” Luggex suitcase in charcoal. I love a good suitcase (call me weird) but I’m also too intelligent to dump $2000+ into a glorified clothes box and act like a pretty box somehow means I’m more valuable than others. AllThat to say that I really do want a quality suitcase but I’m also value-conscious. I bought this one after spending a ton of time reading reviews and still wasn’t sure what I would get. No matter which suitcase you check out you’re going to find the “this is the best one ever” reviews and the “do not buy” ones, but this is the one I went with.Sorry so much preamble.The good:Loaded this sucker up FULL with 51 lbs (23.5kg) of stuff, mainly clothes but some books as well, and checked it in. It then survived six weeks of flights and transfers and in & out of truck beds going from Texas to Papua New Guinea and back, with a lot of additional flights inbetween. United, Asiana and Virgin airlines are pretty good with bags. JetStar was okay. Air Niugini must literally throw the bags out of the aircraft and then jump on them. Seriously. Of our three checked suitcases (three different brands) only this one survived unscathed. It came through with some scuffs - basically perfect. The wheels are all still intact and working quietly. The case itself looks good, no cracks or dents, it opens and closes properly and I don’t find any loose rivets or other damage. The latches and hinges still function correctly and nicely.For comparison, suitcase ‘B’ was so smashed after just one Air Niugini flight I was afraid it wouldn’t get us home: caved in side, major cracks in two sides, front permanently creased, and the aluminum frame broke in two places. Suitcase ‘C’ had two broken-off wheels, one corner caved in and cracked through, and white crease marks across the front where it had bent. Neither of those will ever make another trip. The Luggex looks good - like it actually looks good. The other two are filthy and scuffed and you say, “dude, those things are finished”. This one you look at and say “huh…probably could wipe it down with a damp cloth and remove that sticker residue, huh?” I’m massively impressed Extra impressed because it went all the same places as the other two bags but this one just looks a bit dirty and those two are ruined. I will absolutely buy another Luggex.13 flights, 16 different terminals, vans, truck beds, stairs, gravel, pouring rain, plus the tender care of Air Niugini…this one wins, for me.

Very spacious, durable, and convenient for checked in luggage. Was a bit pricey but worth the cost. Family of 3, and it fit attire and toiletries for a 5 day vacation.

Used this on multiple flights to and from Europe the last few weeks. Appears to be rugged and durable. Dual combination locks a plus with an additional center lock. Rolls easily throughout on multiple floor types I.e., hardwood, tiles, marble, etc., and faired well on hotel type carpet. Definitely recommend having transported items inside the suitcase made of glass (wrapped) and had no breakage.
