Suitcases should be more sturdy and come in more sizes.

Love these bags! Just wish the locks felt a little sturdier and made a nice, satisfying clunking sound. They seem a little dainty for the job they gotta do. I would also invent some kind of little kickstand, since the trunk case not lie flat when open. A little concerned about overworking the hinges with that. I

I also pimped them out a little with espresso Brown wheel covers and leather handle covers.

Great luggage. Looks good and rolls very smoothly. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than our previous luggages from cheaper brands.

I wanted to use these before I wrote a review. I travelled Germany for 7 weeks, 3,500+ miles, 50 trains… and I was NOT gentle with this luggage.
I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice. I purchased several brands before deciding on Luggex—and this was hands down the BEST decision.
I had this suitcase maxed out weight-wise. Traveling alone much of the time meant I was constantly lifting, pulling, and yes… even throwing it on and off trains because I had more than one bag. Some days I didn’t even have the energy to carry it up and down stairs, so it literally bumped down step by step with me. I was worried the stairs would ruin my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine!!! The suitcase is incredibly durable.
And the wheels? AMAZING. They held up to EVERYTHING.
They handled every surface I came across. Cobblestone? No problem. Although I will say… in Köln (Cologne), the cobblestones were EXTRA 😂 so I had to put my back into it and pull!
It rolled smoothly across platforms, elevators, stairs, and everything in between.
It also went on and off escalators easily, which was a huge deal when traveling alone. My carry on sat on top and strapped easily to the pull up handle. i am 6’ 2” and the handle was a perfect length for me.
I brought a spare wheel but never needed it. The shocks did their job perfectly. After 7 weeks of serious use, the wheels still looked great, just normal scuffs and scratches (see pic).
Security was another huge plus.
No zippers to puncture, just a solid aluminum frame with two TSA-approved locks. I felt completely comfortable leaving it in the train luggage areas while I went to the bathroom or restaurant car. I also used a retractable locking cable for extra peace of mind.
The medium size fit easily in the overhead racks on German trains.
About the frame … I tried other hard-shell suitcases without aluminum frames, and they all felt floppy and “soft.” With my hip injury, I needed something I could sit on if necessary. The company didn’t officially recommend it, but I had to try it and it was SOLID .
I used it as a seat multiple times throughout my trip. Even my 6’10”, 300 lb son sat on his with no issue. The frame is no joke!! Seriously strong and well-built.

I am SO happy with this purchase. We now own four different sizes and I am buying a set for my husband.

Been using it for some trips now — really solid build quality and super smooth wheels.

The zipperless design is actually more convenient than I expected, and it just feels more secure overall.

So far no issues even on international travel. Definitely a good upgrade from my previous luggage.

I am extremely disappointed with the durability of this suitcase. During normal travel, one of the spinner wheels began to disintegrate on the first flight - leaving me with a major problem for the next ten days abroad. As the attached photo shows, the wheel material failed catastrophically rather than simply wearing down over time.

This luggage was used under ordinary travel conditions and should have been able to withstand the demands of airport and hotel transit. A suitcase is only as reliable as its wheels, and a failure of this nature raises serious concerns about the overall quality and durability of the product.

For a piece of luggage intended for travel, I expected far better performance and longevity. I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

Away only gives you limited coverage. Luggex backs this for 10 years no questions asked. That's confidence in their product. Ilove the wheels that can be replaced lol

I buy the 21 inch new one, and what can I say,, love this new brand.

Bought this to replace my Samsonite zipper closure suitcase. I wanted more secure closure than the zipper provides. Also wanted to ensure I had a bag that meets airlines dimensions since they are allegedly becoming more strict in 2026.Lets's start with the CONS first: weighs 2 pounds more than the Samsonite, doesn't have the zipper expansion like the Samsonite, combination dials do not click into place like the Samsonite wheeled combination.PROS: Clasps and closure are sturdy and secure!, might have s smidge more packing room since the corners are more square than round; handles being centered makes the bag easier to handle; Rolls easier than Samsonite but might just be because it is newer; fits the airlines size restrictions.I bounced it around some to see how it held up. It took a good beating without deforming. I believe it will serve me as well as if not better than the Samsonite.

Love there is no zipper closure. Strudy, yet light weight.Beautiful color. Lots of storage

I was in need of a new carry-on for my trip to London. During my search, I was looking for a 20 in carry-on luggage that was made with a durable hard shell, no zippers, had a section for wet items, could fit in an overhead storage, and was able to roll smoothly over various surfaces. I ended up purchasing this Luggex carry-on because it had all my requirements. I also chose this carry-on for its price and 3 year warranty.I saw other similar carry-ones that were twice the price with only a 1 year warranty.During my 3 week trip to London, this carry-on proved to be worth every penny. on my international flight, the carry-on fit in the overhead storage with no problem. It rolled through various surfaces at the airport and on the streets of London with no problem. I was able to fit 4 outfits and a pair of shoes along with some other items easily. The two handles are very useful for when you need to pick up the luggage. The handles even have a soft close feature that's very nice. I can't comment much on the scratch resistance as I didn't check my luggage. But the hard shell is very durable and did not get any damage during my trip. The TSA lock are easy to program and I like how each side can have it's own combination. overall, I really like the design of this carry-on. It's built like a tank. The aluminum frame with the corner protectors are nice. Hopefully, these will hold up over time.

We purchased the 20 inch carry-on and the 24 inch check-in hard sided Luggex zipperless luggage in April of 2025. We found both of these suitcases to be extremely durable and lightweight. While one of the corner plates suffered some extreme abuse during handling, the underlying corner of the case remained in near perfect condition.I would highly recommend this luggage without reservation. You may pay a little more but you won't be disappointed.PS: These two pieces were big enough to pack for a 28 day cruise and allowed us older folks to use public transportation.
