Luggage Straps TSA Approved

They seem to be of adequate quality, no better or worse than any other luggage straps I've used. Just an fyi: despite appearances this is not reflective whatsoever. Buckle is also completely plastic but does it low on the suitcase.

I always worry about my luggage busting open while traveling, so I really like having this strap as an extra layer of security. If a zipper or clasp were to fail during travel, I feel like the strap would help keep the suitcase closed until I could get it repaired or replaced. That alone gives me some extra peace of mind. I also like that it has a combination lock, which adds another level of security and means I don't have to keep up with a separate key. The strap feels sturdy, the buckle is easy to use, and the bright color makes my luggage easier to spot. For me, it's a simple travel accessory that provides some welcome extra security.

My family and I do alot of overseas travelling to the Philippines and southeast asia and we bring alot of stuff with us…gifts, branded shoes and clothing and sometimes expensive gadgets. We are always concerned with losing our things, whether through lost luggage or theft, we always want that extra security just for our peace of mind. So in addition to the luggage locks that come with our luggage, we also add these straps to all our luggage that contains the stuff we want to keep secured. That extra step of having to unlock the luggage locks as well as the straps is hopefully enough of a deterrent to keep thieves away. I also add a bluetooth tracker for added peace of mind. These straps are good quality. Although made of plastic, it is thick seems quite durable. It is easy to put on and lock/unlock once you set the combination to your preferred code. Fits most standard size luggages. I use 2 straps on 1 luggage to add more security and to prevent access from any side of the luggage. I like that it has a bright blue stripe so it’s easy for me to identify once it’s in baggage claim. It’s also TSA approved so they can access it and lock it without having to use your code. If you want security and peace of mind for your travels, I would definitely suggest getting these. For the price, it is a good value for the added security.

Tom and I like traveling with a luggage strap around our suitcase for two reasons. It makes our luggage much easier to identify when it comes around the carousel, and it gives us an extra sense of security that the suitcase is less likely to pop open if it gets dropped, hit or tossed around during travel.We are both really happy with this durable, versatile luggage strap.I measured mine at about 82 inches long, and I photographed it around one of our suitcases, which measures about 60 inches around. As you can see in my photo, there is still quite a bit of strap left, so I could easily use it vertically around this suitcase as well.I especially like the bright green color. Against our suitcase, there is no mistaking which bag is ours, and that is exactly what I want when I’m watching luggage come around on a carousel.The three-digit combination is very easy to change. I included a close-up photo of the back of the lock because it explains the process better than I ever could. Move the small selector from A to B, choose your new three-digit code, then move it back to A. Done!The strap feels substantial, adjusts easily and stays snug once I have it where I want it. The built-in TSA lock is another feature I like having for travel.For us, this is one of those simple travel accessories that earns its place in the suitcase: easier identification plus another layer of security around the bag.

Have you ever had your luggage at the airport carousel mistakenly taken by somebody else since so much luggage looks alike? I have & it is not fun. Then these straps are for you. They are amazingly long, 82" (6' 10"). They are long enough to strap vertically on the largest suitcase that you can take on an airplane without paying for an oversize bag. You can adjust these straps from either or both ends making it super easy to get the right fit. The buckle and adjustment pieces are super heavy duty. With them being TSA compliant, no worries getting through security.To reset the combination, move the peg from "A" to "B", change the combination to what you want, then move back to the "A" position.Our suitcases are in great shape and we don't need them for keeping the suitcase from opening, my main reason for getting them was to make them easy for me to spot and more difficult to be mistaken for somebody else's. The strap colors stand out.

These are strong, sturdy luggage straps that are easy to adjust for different suitcase sizes. I like that they can accommodate a variety of luggage, and the bright green color makes my suitcase much easier to spot when traveling. The reinforced buckle also feels secure and well made.My main hesitation is the combination lock. The plastic seems to be decent quality, but considering the price of the straps, I would have preferred a stronger metal lock or at least something that feels a little more substantial. I also wish the package included directions for setting the combination. It took some figuring out without instructions.Overall, I think these are good, sturdy luggage straps that are easy to adjust and should do a nice job keeping luggage secure. I just think the lock and lack of setup instructions could be improved, especially at this price point.

Works perfectly

These luggage straps are easy to use, help keep your bags secure and make it much easier to spot your bags at the baggage claim. They’re wide woven webbing with a olorful band that’s easy to spot. The combination locks have fairly large number dials, for easier reading and turning. The straps are long enough to fit most regular-sized suitcases and can be adjusted to the right length. I’d suggest is that the instructions for changing the combination on the lock come with the product. You can ask AI how to do it on the product page. (Basically, the locks are set at 0-0-0-, and on the back side, move the silver pin from the “A” position to “B”, reset the dial to your chosen combination, and then switch the silver pin back to the “A” position.). The dial sticks out a bit from the band, so I hope it doesn’t get too beat up on the airport luggage conveyor belt. If you can, try to put the dial near the top luggage handle to protect it. Also, if you’re close to the check-in weight limit, keep in mind that each strap weighs at least few ounces.

It’s not too often I see a taped up luggage coming off the belt at the airport, but when you do see it, it’s just a good reminder to add that additional security. These straps are large and feel durable. It comes with the basic 3 number lock and a TSA007 key slot. However, they do not provide you with the key. It does not come with any instructions on how to change the lock numbers. So will have to look that up online if you are not familiar with how these work. There is a switch on the bottom that you use during this process. If you lock it up and forget the code, you may have to cut it off your luggage. Or you can pick up a TSA key. The length is long enough to fit most luggage that the airlines will allow. It is black and a durable material. The buckles are large and easy to operate. They tidy up nicely with the extra rings when you don’t have them completely extended. They do come in other colors, but this one is black with a blue stripe down the middle. If I have a common looking luggage for a trip I will just simply add a ribbon or something unique to the handle so it stands out.

Ordered to travel across the pond.. I'm impressed with thick nylon material that shows durability to handle wear/tear- reminds me of a car tow strap- its that durable!! Loving the "bright blue stripe" that adds visibility to identify bag on carousel- and also make others aware.. its not theirs!Includes adjustable slip mechanics to shorten/extend for bag choice. I found it easiest to measure bag with tape measure.. then, set strap to needed length fist. That way I can tuck excess length of strap underneath.. something I couldn't do if trying to adjust size during placement.Easy to set combo lock- with the instructions. HACK: store the combo chosen in phone esp. If not used very often.. that way you wont forget next trip! Strap has TSA slot to open! If need to look in your checked bag- they can, no prob. Hefty robust buckle "clicks" strong/sturdy for peace of mind.Worthy option for extra secure closure- not theft proof but, deters easy access and secures during airport woes we all know bags endure! I got these luggage straps for a suitcase that is on its last legs. I'm flying home in a few weeks and will be filling this suitcase with things for my family. The suitcase zips up and the lock still works but the top handle broke and a wheel is gone. It's a hard case and there are two cracks on the corners that I patched with duct tape. I'm hoping these straps will add extra security while traveling. The straps are easy to adjust, fit my suitcase securely, and the bright blue color will make my other luggage much easier to spot on the baggage carousel (because the suitcase I'll be using for this one last trip with it, stands out on its own).The buckle feels sturdy, and the strap material is thick enough that it doesn't seem like it will wear out quickly. I ordered two TSA-approved luggage straps and locks. Being TSA-approved, they can be opened if needed, by the TSA with a special key without having to damage the lock or cut the strap to inspect the contents of your luggage.They appear to be very good quality and are easy to read. To set a combination, turn over the lock, slide the level from "A" to "B", set a new combination, then slide the lever back to the "A" position- it's that easy!Adjusting the straps onto your luggage is simple, and they hold tightly. The nylon straps are strong, providing a secure, tight grip on your luggage.They are lightweight and super-transportable. There are several colors to choose from, all are highly visible once placed on your luggage. They offer that extra peace-of-mind knkwing that your luggage won't be opened while travelling to its destination, unless the TSA needs to do an inspection. One less thing to worry about! These are excellent quality straps for securing your checked bags. I've seen more than a few suitcases come down the conveyor belt busted open (I even had it happen on a cruise once!), so every time I check a bag for a flight I make sure to put a strap around it. These are great, because not only are the adjustable to ensure a secure fit, but they are portable and easy to bring along with the added safety of TSA-approved lock. The blue and black strap is also good for visibility when identifying your bag, and the tie-down even helps secure an over-packed suitcase. Great set, and super easy to reset the combo - just flip the little switch on the back from A -> B when on the default (0-0-0) and move it to whatever 3 digits you'd like before flipping it back. Voila!

This luggage lock is great. The strap is large and adjustable. I ordered the blue strap. It came in a 2 pack so it is great to strap one over the other for a very secure fit and lock to my suitcase. It advertises that TSA can still unlock the suitcase with a special key they have. When I went through the airport and checked my bag I did not have any trouble using this strap I felt secure that my luggage was secure through the airport to baggage check. I used the other strap for my carry on luggage and felt secure walking through the airport and did not have any issue through security. I have used a lock on my zippers before these straps. I do like the strap because I can secure the strap over my luggage instead of putting a lock between the zipper.The only downside to this luggage lock is it did not come with directions of how to reset the lock. Pay attention to the information on the purchasing page as that describes how to reset and change the combination.

Actually better than I expected. Strong lock and good quality straps long enough for our large checked bag. It would’ve earned a five star rating except no instructions for resetting the lock’s code were included. At the very least print it on the box or include the info that it’s found on the original listing.

Works great, very easy to adjust. Setting new lock combination is a snap. Highly recommend.
